The Tour
Come with us on a guided trip up the Reisariver to the mighty Mollis waterfall (called «Mollisfossen» in Norwegian). Mollisfossen is 269 meters high, and one of Europa's largest waterfalls. On the 1 hour riverboat ride to Mollisfossen you will be taken into Reisa national park, where wild nature, steep mountainsides, waterfalls and green lush forest surrounds the river.
Did you know that right next to the Reisariver there is 3000-years old petroglyphs? If you wish, we can make a short stop and observe the markings on the steep rock wall before we continue the trip to Mollisfossen.
We travel in a long and slender local type of riverboat, were you are comfortably and safely seated as we travel up river rapids and through breathtaking nature.

Practical information
When starting the Riverboat safari to Mollisfossen you will be given local produced snacks and hot beverage to enjoy in the riverboat. Life-jackets and rain ponchos is of course included, and a mandatory safety briefing will be held before departure.
Upon arrival at the Mollis waterfall camp, we will be staying for around 30-45 minutes. The camp is equipped with a bonfire, shelter and an outdoor toilet. You can make the 3 minute walk to get close to the waterfall, in order to see and hear its mighty roar and feel the water misting the air. At the bonfire we will serve coffee or tea, and food will be cooked. You can bring your own food and beverage to suit your needs, or you can pre-order food through Amazing Troms that will be served by the bonfire Norwegian style.
We highly recommend wearing windproof and somewhat warm clothing in the riverboat. Good hiking shoes always comes in handy. Mosquito netting may be a comfort, depending on the time of the season.
