When visiting the north, you will have the opportunity to try your own hand at deep sea fishing. It is a part of the Norwegian heritage, and helped build our beautiful country. We can offer a guided fjord fishing trip, with all the needed fishing equipment included, to make it easy and comfortable for your group. Whether it is your first time trying deep sea fishing or you are experienced sport fishers, we will tailor the trip according to your wishes. Just contact us and we will figure out the trip together.
All you will need to bring onboard is warm and windproof clothing. There will be served hot beverages onboard, food and snacks can be brought by yourself or bought onboard the boat.
Deep sea fishing is very exciting, because you never know what is on the other end of the line. It might be a big cod, a scary catfish, a feisty pollock, maybe a huge halibut weighing 150 kg, or even a very rare wild Atlantic salmon!
The grounds we will be fishing in is mainly Reisafjorden and the area around Skjervøy. Here the fishing is rich and the fish grows big, because the gulf stream outside the coast combined with freshwater river drainage provide the waters with a lot of nutrients. These conditions makes for happy fish and happy fishers.
We depart from Sørkjosen harbour in Nordreisa at 09.00 in the morning. The “Reisafjord Hotel” and apartment rental “På Taket Kafe” is right next to the Harbour. We will be travelling and fishing with our big and comfortable Fjord cruiser “Constance”. Onboard the boat there is comfortable seating where you can sit and eat while enjoying the beautiful Arctic Fjords and nature. Or perhaps you want to sit outside on the benches and enjoy the fresh sea air and smell the ocean. Toilet facilities and fresh water is available onboard the boat.
